The Sun in My Eyes
My favourite view, of the world
is when the sun shines directly in my eyes
and I have to squint.
When the rays hit my eyelashes
everything I see is outlined in a golden light,
everything is warm,
everything is good.
Then I blink and look away.
It is too much for me;
the sun in my eyes
