I’m trying to tell you something

About the way the world works.

You’re so unusual

Rarely seen,

Like a solar eclipse to me,

Your day is night for that moment

When moon and sun align.

I see nothing but symbols of you.

Dark and bright.

Oh listen to the roar of the ocean

And think of me

In my many shades of blue.

Give a clue

To what you think inside

That steal trap mind of yours,

Questioning my kind.

I see the like of you

And this is true,

In everything you do,

Unpredictably free.

Want to dive into the water

To it’s deep dark bed.

Touch the base

And interlace

And if you come with me

You will see

Your reflection there,

Ever so fair,

Intermingled with my own.
