Lightness

You make me feel alive, like the scattered shells on a beach barely touching the cold, cold water.

Your eyes are reaching my eyes, oh that glance could sail me across the sea.

Every breathe you take is another one you’ll never see again, and I get to see you all day long.

Because of you, I shimmer like a firefly in the night.

Fluttering away with the others into the trees, above the clouds and into the stars.
